Alexa software displays metrics of pages,  bounce rate, time on site including demographics, click stream, and search traffic stats.

Alexa statistics are excellent resource to use when developing a on-line marketing strategy.  The “audience” statistic shows you the gender and location of all people viewing your website.  Additionally, these statistics show whether the majority of your page views come from people at work, at home, or elsewhere.  Finally, the “audience” feature breaks down your traffic even further by providing personal statistics on your “audience” (e.g., whether they have kids, age ranges, etc.).  By viewing this information, you will be able to see whether your advertising campaigns are actually reaching your target markets.  As such, you will be able to adjust your marketing efforts, as applicable, and increase the traffic to your website.

Alexa.com is an excellent resource that provide legitimate analytical information and more.  All information provided by Alexa is free.  Therefore take the opportunity to make use of this free information to enhance and develop a successful web strategy for your Internet business.
